(US) Microsoft Entra ID setup for PALMA Composer

Modified on Tue, 5 Nov, 2024 at 5:16 PM

The following instructions will allow a PALMA Composer customer's Microsoft Entra ID administrator to prepare their tenant to allow users to access PALMA Composer.

Add the application to your tenant

  1. Click direct link to Entra ID sign-in for PALMA Composer (US).

  2. Sign in with an account that is registered in your tenant and has privileges to administrate enterprise applications in Microsoft Entra admin center.

  3. A consent dialog is presented. Proceed to accept admin consent for the application. (NOTE: If consent is already accepted, no dialog is show and instead you will be automatically transitioned to the next step.)

  4. You will be redirected to a page on us.palmacloud.com that shows a 404 error message. This is expected. PALMA Composer for the designated region is now available in your tenant.

Restrict access to the application

In most cases you will want to restrict access to the application. Setting up access restrictions for the application is not in the scope of this document but, in order to do so, the application can be found in Microsoft Entra admin center:

  1. Go to the enterprise applications page in Microsoft Entra admin center.

  2. Search for the application named PALMA @ us.palmacloud.com and click to open settings for the application.
